This week we dive headfirst into our school district’s budget to better understand school funding in Washington.

Maintaining our schools and buildings is a year-round job. Thankfully, our team of dedicated workers was up to the task this summer, completing a host of much needed improvement projects throughout the district.

During the 2020-21 school year, Bethel began our journey with Standards-Based Instruction and Grading.

Thanks to increased state funding, better-than-expected estimates, and responsible fiscal management, we are now able to proceed with building a new Cedarcrest Middle School instead of modernizing the existing one!
