Principal's Message
Welcome to Thompson Elementary! I am honored to serve as the Principal of such an amazing school! I have been at Thompson for over eight years and I absolutely love it here!
I grew up in Gig Harbor, WA and attended Pacific Lutheran University where I majored in Elementary Education and Spanish and minored in Special education. I moved to Salinas, CA after graduating from PLU and worked as a self contained Special Education Teacher for four years. I moved back to the Pacific Northwest in 2004 and worked in the University Place School district for 11 years as a self contained Special Education Teacher, Resource Room Teacher and EBD (Behavior) Teacher.
In 2015 I graduated from the University of Washington, Tacoma with my Administration Certificate and moved to the Bethel School District where I have been an administrator ever since. I call Bethel my “home” and love the community I work in!
Some of my favorite things about Thompson Elementary are the people I get to interact with every day! I love greeting families and students each morning and walking around the building to see all the great things happening here. Our students are kind, smart and funny! I enjoy when students stop me in the halls to tell me a silly joke!
I am proud of the staff we have at Thompson as they work tirelessly to serve each and every student, every day! Thompson is a great place to be and I am grateful to call it my home away from home!
